International Cooperation
Since Harmony began in 1985 our priorities have included informing Canadians about the importance of international cooperation and the responsibility of a country so privileged to assist other peoples in dealing with their environmental challenges. A list of successful collaborations and projects can be found under History.
At present, there are three significant endeavours we are pleased to bring to your attention.
The Israel-Rwanda School Biodiversity Program
Partnering with the International Rwanda Youth for Development (“IRYD”) Canada and This Is My Earth (TiME”), this program is to create cooperative student learning and action between junior-high school students in Rwanda and Israel for conservation of biodiversity.

Sustainable Agriculture in Uganda
The Abayudaya are a community in eastern Uganda, near the town of Mbale. Harmony is supporting the Abayudaya in their sustainable agriculture initiatives, helping with tools, seeds and trainings for local farmers.

Low Impact Eco-Technologies & Self-sufficiency for Url and Indigenous Communities in Mexico
Harmony is supporting GRUPEDSAC (Mexico) for their Eco-Tequio program. This program helps young people and adults to learn about ecotechnologies through community work, and become self-sufficient in providing food, housing and other essentials using low-cost eco-technologies.
